The Disciples for Life Pro-Life Ministry recognizes the sanctity of human life from conception to natural death as we are all created in the image of God. The ministry’s mission is to foster a pro-life parish environment through prayer, education, support, legislation, and action.

Prayer: Members participate in First Friday’s Eucharistic Adoration, Divine Mercy Chaplet, and Pro-Life Rosary, petitioning God to send the Holy Spirit to enlighten all people to preserve human life.

Education: The ministry seeks to expand Pro-Life awareness, promoting Catholic values by implementing the written messages from our Holy Father Benedict XVI, a s well as Pope John Paul II, the U.S. Bishops, priests, religious and other Catholic pro-life organizations.

Support: Financial, material and spiritual support is offered to mothers and fathers who have elected to give the Gift of Life to their children.

Legislation: The ministry actively seeks pro-life legislation, remaining informed on impending pro-life legislation and taking action at all levels of government by making known the desire to protect all human life.

Action: Witnessing through “non-violent” activities, members join other Catholic pro-life organizations at abortion mills to pray for a change of heart as mothers move toward ending the gift of life in their womb.

Morning Has Broken... Thanks for Life!

To women who have given life to their babies and to those beautiful children.
