Men's Ministry

St. John's Men's Ministry Program for 2007-2008

Signposts: How to be a Catholic Man in the World Today

*Signposts: How to be a Catholic Man in the World Today was written by two Catholic men who became involved in the growing Catholic men's movement and saw the need for resources designed specifically for Catholics. The fifty-two discussion plans in the book will be used in our monthly small-group setting (two lessons each time we gather), our retreats, and as individual "at-home" reflections (another two lessons to be done on your own in between gatherings). We hope to offer men the opportunity to grow in their love for God, the church, and their families, and to joyfully embrace the call to live in an authentic Christian life.

Calling Men to Holiness

Our Mission is simple: As men in the Catholic faith, we are called to live in a spirit of holiness, strengthening our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ through prayer, the Sacraments, scripture and action! Lord, may we be good men!

The Holy Family!

Celebrating Our Role as Husband

In the spirit of St. Joseph, we dedicate ourselves to the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony, loving our wives and celebrating the bond that truly makes us one with the love of God! Lord, may we be good husbands!

St. Joseph, Protector

Dedicated in Our Role as Father

By the example of St. Joseph, we dedicate ourselves as father to our children, giving them love, compassion, teaching, and guidance. Lord, may we be good fathers!

St. Joseph the Worker!

Succeeding in Our Role as Worker

By the model of St. Joseph, we dedicate ourselves to the vocation in which God has lead us. We strive for success and the opportunity to share the truth through our actions! Lord may we be good workers!

Bringing Christ to the World!

Exploring Our Role in the Church

As a member of Christ's Catholic Church, we dedicate our family to being a part of God's Holy Family on earth, striving to participate fully in the life, mission and work of the Faith! Lord, may we be one body in Christ!
